Fremont Burger & Brew Fest Helps Kick off this Festival Season

Get ready, the  Fremont Burger & Brew Fest is set to return to Downtown on May 21st. This month will mark the festivals 2nd annual event, following a successful run last year. Held in Downtown Fremont on Liberty Street, between Capital and Walnut Ave., the event promises craft brews, gourmet burgers, popular food trucks and entertainment from local bands. I am also happy to see that Fremont’s own DasBrew, a popular craft brewery offering traditional German and Irish beer, as well as offerings with a California flair, will be featured at this year’s Festival.

Food offerings are not limited to gourmet burgers either. A peak at this years vendors shows that everything from seafood, to tacos to french dip sandwiches will also be included in the mix.

With respect to entertainment, three local bands will be headlining the event this year. Expect to see The Mundaze, Sweet Hayah & The Trouble With Monkees take the stage.
